Walgreens haul! Glade items!

I went to Walgreens since they have their glade wax melts on sale 2/$6 plus $1 back or 1,000 points can't remember which lol. And I have a tone of glade coupons so why not?! I also found the glade oil warmer kit on clearance for $1.99 & I had a $2 off making it free! The sense and spray was on sale for $6 plus $2 off plus a register reward or points.  I redeemed my $3 in points along with my coupons and paid $7.13 for it all! Not bad! Plus I have $1RR to use next time!

If I lost all my makeup

I was watching youtube last night like I normally do and watched a video about what 10 items you'd repurchase if you lost all of your makeup. So here is my top ten!

1. Elf eyelid primer. Just $1 and works like high end products!
2. Wet and Wild eyeshadow palettes, uber cheap and work just as good as high end!
3. Wet and Wild blushes, see #3 above for why! :)
4. Laura Geller Balance and Brighten baked powder foundation. The amount of product you get will last you a lifetime! So it's totally worth it to repurchase since you won't run out for a long time. Plus there are swirls of different colors in the powder to adjust and correct your skin! And it pretty to look at!
5. Lancome Definicils mascara. This stuff is amazing! I got it free from doing some L'oreal surveys and oh-em-gee amazing! I haven't found a cheaper version yet. But still searching!
6. Revlon colorstay whipped foundation. This stuff is amazing for combo/oily skin!
7. Mary Kay Nourishine gloss in Cafe Au Lait. I have issues with my sensitive lips so this stuff always works for me!
8. Laura Geller Bronze and brighten bronzer, once again it's a huge amount of product for the price, a little goes a long way, and it's gorgeous to look at! Take a gander from the link below!
http://www.laurageller.com/store/face-baked-collection/products/bronze-n-brighten-with-brush

9. Revlon photoready concealer. This stuff is awesome! Holy grail product!
10.Elf face primer. It's inexpensive and works really well!

Cvs

Alright here is part 2 of my haulage! This time I went to CVS. I had a $10 gift card from my credit card rewards that I redeemed so I wanted to stretch it as much as I could! :) This week they have a printable coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine for $1.49 off of 2 single rolls of toilet paper, which normally are on sale 2/$1.99 making them just 49 cents for 2! Great deal!
Then I had a $1/1 Physician Formula item from the paper from a previous week and they have Physician Formula spend $10 get $6 back, so I picked up a mascara to test out on the cheap! :)
My boyfriend really likes Biotrue and I had a $2/1 coupon to use and it's on sale for $7.99 and I stacked my coupon with my ECB from the Physician Formuila deal to make it FREE!
Also the trial pack of training pants was 99 cents and you get 99 cents ecb making it FREE! I had to ask for it since they had it behind the counter. You can choose boy or girl also. Oh and I also had a 20% off coupon print out as well! So all in all after coupons, ecbs, and gift card my out of pocket was only 88 cents and saved around $19!
Also they have Wet and Wild Cosmetics BOGO50% right now and there was a coupon in the paper for $1 off! Scan your card at the coupon machine since they are giving a mystery print out! :)

Walgreens Haulgreens! :)

Hello and Happy Sunday! My boyfriend and his Mom went skydiving today so that was a fun adventure!
After we got back I had to run to Walgreens and CVS to score my deals! Walgreens has an awesome Purex laundry detergent deal right now, buy 1 bottle for $4.79 and get 2 bottles FREE! That's a crazy awesome deal! I also needed more of the Aussie 3 minute miracle leave in conditioner. This stuff is amazing!! I had a coupon for the cereal, it's on sale for $1.88 and had a 70 cent off coupon, so it ended up being pretty cheap! Also at Walgreens they have Fergie's Wet and Wild line 40% off, so that's a great deal. There's also a coupon in the paper to stack with that! :) If you want the regular Wet and Wild items on sale, head to CVS since they have the regular line BOGO50%!

I ran to cvs to use my $1ecb and 25% off to get some soda for relatives coming by and the coupon machine printed a few good coupons on top of what I had! :) so I got 2 body washes, cotton balls, ginger ale, nail polish, & powder for $8.58 & saved $13.40! Not too bad for a last minute run! I hav noticed I am obsessing with neutral colors lately!
Now time to get ready to see my lil peanut and my relatives! Happy Saturday!

Empties!

Empties time! These items I have used up or almost used up!
I love love love the Revlon colorstay whipped foundation!  It lasted like 5 months and during the day it stays put and looks good! Catch it on sale and get a coupon to try it! You will love it!! I have a backup of this foundation since it is that good!
My favorite makeup remover wipes are from elf cosmetics. I have tried all kinds and these remove everything, even waterproof makeup! The best part is that they are just $3 at Target or find them at eyeslipsface.com. They always have sales but I try to wait for their 50% off sitewide sale to stock up!
Elf eyelid primer is amazing! Just a buck and keeps eyeshadow where it should without creasing! This is conpared to higher end products without the big price tag!
My Wet and Wild eyeshadow trio isn't empty quite yet but I have hit pan and it is a well loved trio! This one is called Walking on Eggshells. I love wearing this to work since it's more natural looking. Best part-only $3!
Elf volumizing mascara is awesome for just $2! I like it better than some more expensive and higher end mascaras!
My delish summertime smores candle from Bath and Body Works is sooo yummy smelling! I get compliments when people come to visit! Catch their three wick candles on sale plus stack with coupons to stretch your buck. They are worth it! I love them more than Yankee candles! Another fav scent are any of their pumpkin candles! They have amazing candles for fall!
Happy Wednesday!

Weddings

Wedding season I believe is coming to an end. I have been to my fair share of weddings the past couple of years. Some good, some not so good. I had fun for the most part, even did makeup for some weddings and helped out here and there. It's amazing how outrageously priced things can be just because it's for a wedding or any other special event for that matter. But weddings really can be overpriced.  Do we really need to buy that $6,000 dress? Or drop $10,000 just for the venue? Or spend $50 per plate for dinner?! I could find sooo many better things to do with all that money! But you all know me, the big ole couponer!
But seriously, shop around to find the best deal to help your wallet. People can and will rip you off on many things in life. It's crazy how women get all caught up and frustrated over the tiniest things about the wedding. I do understand they want everything perfect but it's the real world and we are all human. It may not all be 100%. I do love me some Say Yes to the Dress marathons now and again but holy cow those ladies are crazy!
I do not  want to not be in tons of debt after I get married someday. I have thought for such a long time about what I want and the more engagements, weddings, and babies that people are having, the simpler I want things to be. I've thought about big weddings but I couldn't handle all those people staring at me. Lol.
I've thought destination wedding but what if people can't afford to go and it's the people near and dear to our hearts? In the end, I have a super neat and super simple idea that I shall keep secret til that day comes along, hoping it's before I am 30! *crosses fingers*
But I am happy where I am in life. I have an amazing boyfriend who loves me for who I am and makes me happy. He has an amazing family who are loud and fun and love me as much as I love them-at least I hope!(:
We have are ups and downs, good times and bad. We've been together longer than some people that have been married and divorced. We have a solid relationship and things can only be more exciting with what the future may hold for us.
So think about all the fancy things and then think about what would really make you happy. What makes your and your significant other different? Think about the budget and how you can do this or that DIY. Open up your mind about other options that most people do not do and maybe give it a try. It may be even better than what you'd think!
Finally, remember to use a coupon and stack a sale with that to get all your wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc items on the cheap or for free! Who wants to have debt when they don't have to??!!

P.S. Remember to laugh at yourself! :) Or think of a T-Rex trying to make a bed!

$20 makeup challenge!

I have seen tons of blogs and you tube videos about the $20 makeup challenge. It is fun to see what people choose! Now some people say to not include elf because they are uber cheap. Well I picked items that I like from elf and wet and wild that deliver! There are two items you could also get if you really wanted brushes and those are the essential eyeshadow brush and essential blush brush from elf. They are each a buck and get the job done :)
Wet and wild coverall foundation $3.99
Wet and wild coverall powder $2.99
Wet and wild eyeshadow trio walking on eggshells(another favorite is silent treatment trio) $2.99
Elf essential eyeliner in black(they have lots of colors though)$1
Elf eyelid primer $1
Elf baked blush passion pink$3
Elf volumizing mascara $2
Milani lipstick $1 from Dollar Tree
Grand total:$17.97!

The foundation is great coverage and feels good on my combo/oily skin. The powder is amazing! Love it and the price tag is fabulous! The eyeshadows are the bomb! Seriously. They are up there with Urban Decay shadows which are pricey!! The eyeliner is a pretty good deal for a buck plus it comes with a sharpener for a cap! :) Eyelid primer is great to help your shadows not crease and you can't beat elf's primer for a buck!  The baked blush from elf is gorgeous and you can apply dry with a brush or use a spray bottle to spray your brush to apply wet and it's like 2 blushes in one! A great alternative to elf's blush is wet and wild blushes! they are the same price and are super pigmented! Wet and wild brand may have a low price point but boy do they deliver like a high end product! I have not been disappointed yet! The milani lipstick is very pretty pink and smells good, but is a little frosty but gets the job done and feels fairly hydrating as well, for a buck why not?!

Share with me what you would get with your $20 for the makeup challenge! :)

Comfort zone palette look!

Here is another great palette from Wet and Wild! Only $5! :)
I put the browbone color on the right all over the lid. Then applied the crease shade on the left up in the crease and out part of lid. Then barely dab your brush in the definer shade on the left. It is VERY pigmented! Apply this on the far outer corner and blend! :) Put the browbone shade on the left on the inner corners and finish with brown liner and mascara!
Wet and Wild eyeshadow, blush, and bronzers are all amazing!

Bridesmaid look!

So this morning I went to Jewel and purchased some Wet and Wild products after seeing Tati from GlamLifeGuru on Youtube with her tutorial video including the Petal Pusher palette from WnW. My friend and I are really liking this look for her bridesmaids for her wedding!  This blush I think will go well and it is super pigmented so a little goes a long way! Plus the palette was only $5 & blush $3! STEAL! SERIOUSLY AMAZING!  :)

I used the browbone shade on the right all over the lid. Then put the eyelid shade   on the left on the middle of the lid. I used the crease shade on the left in my crease. And used the definer shade on the left and put at the far outer corner of my lid just dabbing a bit on. I finished with tarte cashmere eyeliner in brown and put nyx eye pencil in yogurt on lower lash line to brighten the eye. Topped off with Lancome definils mascara!

These can be compared and be dupes for higher end products that cost 10x more! Go grab these because they are amazing! :)

CVS haul and Walgreens bacon!

So I went to CVS to score some fab deals! I spent a grand total between Walgreens and CVS just $21 and saved $36! Not too shabby considering the Revlon concealer, powder, and Schick razor are normally all over $10 each!  Plus, the razor is a bonus size so I got extra replacement blades!
Walgreens has Butterball bacon for 99 cents, but when you go to Butterball Turkey's Facebook page and do a quiz and share it on Facebook you will get a printable coupon for $1/1 Butterball Turkey coupon! Making 1 pack of bacon FREE! I bought two since it was a great price! :) Paid $1.01 for 2 packs of bacon. Score!
So now we are stocked for breakfast food and got a backup razor for Anthony.
I am doing a makeup swap so the powder will be going to her and we will see what she sends me! :) I will post my swap goodies once they arrives in the coming week or two!
I am excited to try the L'oreal hair treatment. I've heard rave reviews about and how it repairs your hair if it's dry and damaged(which my hair is always gross feeling if I don't put any leave in conditioners, detanglers, hair oils, and whatnot in it). So I will try it out this week and report back with how my hair feels!
Now, let's see when Anth gets up if he will make bacon and eggs!? Lol
Happy Sunday!

Favorite random things! :)

I thought I would share with you some random favorites! I am a bath and body works candle junkie! ( also lip gloss and eyeshadow junkie lol) I LOVE the pumpkin caramel latte candle! I am so excited it is back! Summertime smores and mint chocolate smells delish too! Yum-o-licious! :)
I am also love nescafe caramel latte instant mix! So quick and easy and tasty! My lovely coworker gave me these as a going away gift and boy did she know me well! Coffee, chocolate, coupon wallet, & a back scratcher! I have these on hand when I don't feel like making coffee or when I am out of coffee filters, lol.
I got my new Doctor Who tee at F.Y.E.  in the 2 for $10 bin. I picked it up and instantly knew I needed it in my life!
My new shower curtain is beautiful thanks to Anth's Mom as a move in gift! :)
I am also in love with a great panini....yummmy!
Today at the mall I found the Cinnabon shop so of course I had to get one! I was soo happy I was dancing as I ate it! When I was younger my Mom and I would go to the mall to shop and before we left we would always stop at Cinnabon and eat one and then get a pack to take back home!  So it brings back good memories of home! :)
I hope you enjoyed my randomness! Happy Saturday!

Dollar Tree beauty steal!

I was browsing the Dollar Tree like usual and found this lovely trio from l.a. colors. I remember emilynoel83 talking about these on youtube so I figured for a buck, why not?! These are really pigmented and soo pretty! I can see this trio being a great look for summer and fall!  They had a couple different trios so you can pick one or all to try! They are for sure worth a buck at least!

CVS Haul!

This morning I went to CVS after getting my Sunday paper to score some deals! :)
They have a deal on Physician's Formula when you spend $10 or more you will get $7 ecb back for your next purchase. I also had a 30% off coupon on my card so it was an awesome deal! But if you don't have the email for hte 30% off, the Sunday paper has 20% off coupon on the CVS ad! My CVS had the PF Mascara for $10.49( I think up in WI they sell it at CVS for $9.99 but will still trigger the deal). So I used my 30% off towards this purchase making my total $7.87. Then I used the $7 I got back to put towards my second transaction. I purchased milk for $2.99 but then I also got $1 ecb back for my next purchase. I also purchased 3 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios that were on sale 3/$8.64 plus you get $3 ecb. I used a $1/3 cereal coupon from today's paper along with my $7 ecb from the mascara purchase and paid a total of $3.83 plus I recieved $4 ecb for my next purchase. So grand total for my purchase is $7.70! That makes each item only $1.54! That's cheaper than Aldi! I do love Aldi but if I can score name brand items for less than what they charge, why not?!

Ulta deal!

Ulta's ad shows with any $19.50 ulta brand beauty, tool, skincare, or nail purchase you will get a free 13 piece gift! An $88 value! Go in store or online to get yours!

Coupon inserts!

There are 3 inserts today's paper! Plus on the cvs ad there is a 20% off coupon!

Physicians Formula deal at CVS

Head to CVS starting Sunday and get $7 ecb when you spend $10 on any Physicians Formula product! Also check your email or scan your card in store to see if you get 20% off coupon to use as well! I enjoy their shimmer strips bronzer in wakiki strip-you can swirl together for a bronzey glow or use individually as shadows, eyeliner trios, stick concealer, & their green tube mascara. I also love their pressed powders.  I have creamy natural shade in the airbrushed powder. They have all kinds of bronzers, blushes, eyeshadows, & more! Their nude eyeshadow palette has been said to be an alternative to the Urban Decay Naked palettes. They are a more all natural brand too which is always a bonus! Be sure to see what I find tomorrow at my CVS! Let me know what deals you find! :)

Skincare review!

The past couple of weeks I have been trying out a different skincare routine for my combo/oily skin.  I found a groupon for Yes to Carrots website for $20 I got $40 worth of their items. Not too shabby! :) I chose the Tomatoes line since it's for my skin type plus for acne. I also picked up the Grapefruit cleanser which is quite similar to my Neutrogena cleanser! But more natural which is nice!
The cleanser and moisturizer have a slightly odd smell but I got over it. My skin has not been super oily like I  the past. The cleanser is pretty basic but doesnt feel harsh or drying. The moisturizer is light and absorbs quick into skin.I would repurchase all these items and would love to check out more of what they offer! My skin feels happy, smooth, & refreshed! These items will last awhile since a little goes a long way! Check them out at Target, Walgreens, www.yestocarrots.com, or see if your favorite local store sells their items!  :)
What's your favorite skincare products?

Mary Kay mineral foundation-This works well to set my foundation.  I have had it for over a year and I am just starting to run out!
Mary Kay foundation primer-works well to keep makeup in its place. Elf has a similar one as well  :)
Elf cosmetics eyelid primer-This stuff is fabulous! For $1 ( or half price with sales sometimes) It's such a bargain and it keeps my eyeshadow where it should be without creasing! Can't beat it!

Elf cosmetics baked blush in passion pink-This blush gives you a lovely glow. Its pink with some brown swirls in it. Perfect for summer and only $3! Can you tell I love inexpensive items?! But these are great quality too!
Elf volumizing mascara- For $2 this stuff is a great everyday mascara!  Works better than some higher end mascaras! & doesn't get clumpy!
